Hispanic Museum of Nevada Activities
Our art museum welcomes locals and Las Vegas tourists to visit our art gallery, appreciate the fine art, and to participate in the events and activities planned throughout the year.
The Hispanic Museum of Nevada exhibits feature exquisite artwork from seasoned and emerging artists including sculptures, photographs, paintings, textiles and pottery, among others.
Las Vegas Latino Film Festival
The Hispanic Museum of Nevada was the first to introduce the Las Vegas Latino “Short” Film Festival in Southern Nevada. Held every Fall, the festival features award winning “short” films from festivals held nationally. The event’s main objective is to enrich the community’s awareness through the introduction of thought-provoking films representing the Latino countries.
Rae Arroyo Art Scholarship
The Hispanic Museum of Nevada provides scholarship awards to qualified youth who are interested in art-related classes, but lack the financial assistance to do so. Classes are held at community centers throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
The Hispanic Museum of Nevada events are collaborative efforts with Las Vegas cultural groups, community organizations, and local, national, and international businesses. Performances, exhibits and presenters from around the nation are welcomed to join events throughout the year.
Clark County School District & Private School Field Trips
The Hispanic Museum of Nevada facilitates Clark County School District students have visitations to the museum to experience hands-on art activities with featured artists.
"Noche de Arte Gala"
The Hispanic Museum of Nevada holds a “Noche de Arte” gala every other year. The event features local entertainment, dazzling artwork and guest speakers.
Hold your special day surrounded by art at the Hispanic Museum of Nevada. Our museum is conveniently located near the Las Vegas strip and can accomodate large groups. We have ample parking and can tailor your event to your needs. MTV Wall can be complemented with local and national entertainment, food and libations.
Institute of Culture Youth Day Camp
The Hispanic Museum of Nevada’s Institute of Culture is a summer cultural camp available to children ages 8 – 12 years. Students are given the opportunity to learn about Hispanic cultures through music, art, ethnic food, folkloric dance and presentations. Over 500 students have already experienced the Institute of Culture.
Memories in Art Senior Artist Project
Seniors and artists team up to bring storytelling to life for school aged children, college classes, community organizations, and businesses.
